Is There A Test That Can Tell If You Are Sexually Active

It's not denial Carol. Most parents don't talk to their kids. I would never let a 12 year old out by herself at that age regardless. Just because you felt the need to get pregnant at a young age does not mean every kid is stupid enough to do the same thing.

ok, she'll find out-docs can tell if there has been penetration-I am a nurse and have dealt with similar things of the sort-this is weird having parents who wan to know-I think they are just trying to scare her personally. They don't just look for the humen. But, if I am wrong then she has nothing to be affraid since you guys know so much. Good luck noname.

I know that a doc cannot do a check unless the child says its ok . They will not perform that just cause the mother says so . When I took my daughter at 14 for her phys I wasnt looking to see if she was active I know she is not for one and you can dissagree with me there . Anywhy she is very shy with her bod and said no so the doc couldnt give her a check up that way . But why are you having s_x anyway, doesnt your mother know where you are at all times , she should

I had no intrest having a boyfriend of any kind until I was 17.With the right person I went from never kissing to having s_x in six months because I want to not because I was pressured.Having a shy teenager dosn't mean you are safe.Meeting the right boy will make any young girls hormones go wild. They can be a strait A student and make stupid choices because of hormones.

Sorry that you seem to think that posting quickly equals poor education-I don't need to explain myself to you-nor do I need to give you any info. I was trying to educate.

Everything JBear has said is true. However, a doctor can tell if you've recently had s_x. Your parents cant tell the doctor to do any specific tests on you because you are THE PATIENT. Not your parents. So tell the doctor you dont want a internal and you want to speak to him privately. Your parents will have to wait outside then.

You(as a group) are acting like "noname" is a 12 y/o girl playing with barbies. We do not know her age.If she is 13,hanging out with questionable kids, going on group dates and being defiant then it is not creepy but there job.If she is and all over all good girl who is open about everything and has given no reason to be concerned then it's not right.I don't think the parent of today relize the places kids find to have s_x.It can happen on school grounds during the school day,in cars in parking lots, lets not forget the friends that cover for them. The one that you would least secpect are the biggest offenders. If you could find a teenager in high school to talk you would get more then you bargined for.

How old are you? If you are at the age of consent, then I don't know if your parents can actually do this?

It is creepy...as a parent it is my job to take care of my children's health. That means I will be taking them to the gynocologist once they start having periods...but I will not go in while they're being examined, I will not ask the doctor about anything he observed or that my daughter said, and if my daughters want birth control, they will be able to ask the doctor for it. I will not be taking them to the doctor to see if they've had s_x, I will be taking them to the doctor because it is necessary for them to be healthy. When I was a teen, I had friends whose parents made them go take pregnancy and drug tests...I can see doing that if I had a very good reason to suspect something, but I can't imagine taking my daughter to the doctor to see if she still had a hymen.

Nobody said anything about being in the room,at least not me.

Sorry had to go real quick.Creepy dosn't even begin to describe want to go in the room. That's a pervert.Carol only said it was creepy that her parents wanted to know and everybody just agreed or disagreed with that.As a young married adult I don't let my husband in the room.

lol, JBear, you and I always seem to see eye to eye on issues. Are you pregnant and when are you due? :) (Sorry to go off topic)

Jbear - November 10

Bonnie, I'm not pregnant anymore...I had Sophia Anne on Aug 17, and I've got a three and a half year old girl. Are you pregnant?

Bonnie - November 10

Awwww, grats to you. Yes, I am 30 weeks pregnant (and getting quite paranoid that the end is so close, lol). My first pregnancy though I have twin step-children that live with me and my DH, they are 12.

Jbear - November 10

Congratulations! I'm jealous, you get to do the third trimester in the cold weather. I was miserable this summer. She's a little doll baby, though...I was really depressed after my first, so I missed out on noticing all that baby cuteness. Do you know what you're having yet?
