for me, they basically felt like my stomach was tightening and everytime it happened it would feel a little worse. Feels the same as period cramps, only they get worse.

hmm i have this pain like on the top of my belly maybe about 5 inches above belly b___ton. its not like ''killing me'' pain but it is very uncomfortable. ive had some of the same feeling before.. but the ones im having now... it been about an hour and it hasnt stopped it feels a little worse when i breathe out. and during dinner i felt a little nauseus because of it.i mean its bearable pain but never the less still a pain.. is this normal?? could they be contractions. i remember before pg and i would get my pd cramps they were so unbearable i just wanted to basically sit on the toilet.. AND feel liek throwing up . sorry gross i know but thankfully i havent had any pain like that. and yesterday i went shopping and my baby has dropped but when i was walking around the sore it hurt so bad down there cause of all the pressure i like wanted to cry but i didnt want my mommy to see me upset.lol.

Mine often times take my breath away a bit, painful or not. Basically if you feel any change in your abdomen, even if it is little, give it a feel, it should feel pretty hard. With true labor contractions you should feel pain start to build. Most women know when they are in labor. Try not to get too scared:) I'm almost 39 weeks, and want to have my girl too!

When i went to L&D the other night, the nurses told me that contractions feel like AF cramps that last longer then 40 seconds and have a patteren to them. I would suggest calling your doctor or the L&D unit you are planning to give birth in and ask for their opinion. GL and your LO is almost here!!!!

When I was pregnant with my daughter I was having contractions and didn't know it, either. Once they get more.. obvious, it is like having really really bad period cramps, you will know! Just trust me. It is like a tightening feeling.

okay so the way i can describe how it feels for me.. its like pinching... at first it was at the top...lasted for about two hours. but very light... then it went away... but just from the top it moved down to i guess my uterus.. like down there under my belly. same feeling like its pinching.. but stronger than the ones that i felt at the top... thats been lasting for about an hour and a half but constant like it hasnt stopped.. but im still breathing.lol. so should i go to l&d. or jsut wait it out and see if anything progresses... i just dont want to worry my mom... or go to l&d and just be sent back home or anything.. im already '' full term'' though [[3731d]] and i did lose a little bit of my mucous plug sometime last month... atleast i believe it was my mucus plug it looked like i blew my nose or soemthing... sorry tmi.lol. but yah thank you.and responoses would be great.
