I am 37 weeks and haven't had any false labor. No BH, no cramps, no nothing. I asked my doc today what is the average that most 1st time moms go into labor and he said usually..... of course not always.... they go a full 40 weeks and past their due date. I have a gut feeling my little guy will wait till past my due date but you never know right? !! So when did yall have that 1st baby ???

I had my first at 37 weeks, 5 days. I could have smacked the paramedic who came in the ambulance. He decided to tell me that, although I had labored all day long, I would probably go home since I was earlier than 40 weeks and it was my first time. The fool!! I was already at 2 minutes apart when they picked me up. Anyway, I did have BH quite often and had taken about a mile walk the night before with BH coming quite often then as well. Not to mention that for 3 days prior, my daughter had parked her feet up in my lungs, which not only hurt, but cut down on my ability to breathe at times. I hope this helps.

I had my first at 39 weeks 2 days. I don't know about this one though, I wouldn't mind having him later, I get to enjoy a few more days of good sleep before he comes. I did not have any BH contractions either, but had slight cramps the night before, then lost my mucus plug, I still thought I had about a week to go and then water broke 2 hrs later, and then went to the hospital. The stupid nurse who checked me said I probably peed on myself, I was so mad because you don't pee buckets when you are pregnant, she did another test and it came out negative, this was around 4 am, doc finally came at around 9 and took one look and said I was in labor. Stupid nurse, didn't see her again.

Tanya, tell us how you really feel about that nurse. LOL!

krc - July 12

you know I want to be an ob nurse. I have put my application in at the l&D department I can only pray I am not a freaking idiot nurse. Sorry gals that those nurses's and paramedics were such a__s's.

Been There, well yeah hmm that 'stupid' nurse ehhhh. Hmmm , good thing i got another nurse since her shift was over, and she was amazing, I loved her. Then I got a nazi nurse when it came time to pushing, she was tough but good in a way, I needed that.

Was just aboit to ask the same question. I am 37 weeks and 3 days, and I dont feel anything!!! This is never going to end, and it is so annoying. I cleaned all my windows the other day, and it included hard physical work. I was climbing up and down chairs and dont ask what else, but this baby must be as firm as ever, because besides for my feet killing and swelling a little, and a few cramps, NOTHING!!!! And I really dont want to go overdue. I want baby OUT!!! hahaha, amd I crazy or wat??
