My baby was very, very inactive from about 29 to 32 weeks. Not sure why, but I would maybe only feel 1 movement a day. The doc's always say you should feel 10 kicks in 2 hours, but I would go days before feeling 10 kicks. Doc was concerned, did an u/s and baby is fine...we just guess he is lazy :) I would get it checked out though, just to make sure! I am almost 36 weeks now and baby moves ALL the time.

Don't worry, as long as your still feeling movement things are good. Baby's go through tremendous growth spurts at certain points of pregnancy, and like baby's outside the womb, they sleep more through them. It's their little bodies way of conserving energy. I bet within a week or so, you'll notice your baby is right back to normal. But, if ever your concerned, don't be shy to make a trip to ldr. Better to keep your sanity!! :)

Also remember that the bigger the baby gets the less room he/she has to move around which plays a big part in decreased movement. I just turned 35 wks but before I realized that she was running out of room I was beginning to worry, now I know that it's normal.

Thanks ladies. I have an appt. on Thursday, so will let her know. With the unique circ_mstances with this whole pregnancy, I always have in the back of my head that something will happen. I want to be so careful.
