33 Weeks Does Your Belly Hurt

I'm 33 weeks and this is my 3rd baby, but our youngest is 10 years old so it's been awhile! The last few days the very top of my belly (top of my uterus) HURTS ...like it's bruised. I can hardly touch it. Could it be bruised from the kicking she's doing?? Does anyone else feel like this?? I don't remember feeling this with my other 2. I keep looking at my belly thinking it's black and blue...but it's not, it just feels like it is. Any info. would be great...thanks!

My stomach was hurting really bad sort of like that, particularly when I woke up in the morning. I thought it was normal becuase this is my first pregnancy. Well, I went into preterm labor and was diagnosed with a urinary tract infection. The labor stopped, so I haven't had my baby yet but they put me on antibiotics and since the second day I have been on them my stomach has stopped hurting so that could be it. I really don't know though!

Tami- thanks for your help. I had a UTI also in June, along with some kind of intestinal flu...they kept me in the hosp. for the day and re-hydrated me then put me on antibiotics. But this feels different than that. It litterally feels like a huge bruise...I don't know how else to explain it. I'll see my doctor next week....hope it's ok to wait that long. Good luck to you and thanks for your help!!

I'm 28 weeks and just curious how long some of you have had a sore belly. I had the same thing for about a week. My doctor had no opinion other than normal pregnancy pains...but it hurt so bad one night that I couldn't even lay the blanket over my belly. It seems to have gone away for now, I thought maybe it was gas since everything is kinda squished in there now. Have any of you had any other feedback from your doctors/midwives?

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM EXCEPT MINE WAS LOWER IN MY GROIN AREA. MY DOCTOR SAID IT WAS ROUND LIGAMENT, A CONDITION CAUSING SORENESS SIMPLY BEAUSE YOURLIGAMENTS ARE STRETCHED SO TIGHT

I just started to have a sore tummy today, it's kind of a cross between an upset tummy and menstrual cramps. I also experienced some BH contractions while walking to work this morning, so I'm wondering if it's because of that.
