Hi Everyone Had an appointment 2 days ago at the doctors just for a check up and was told I was measuring about 2 weeks further along than I should be. Im 33 weeks and they said im measuring more like 34 to 35 weeks but that it's fine. Does this mean my baby will be early? Or will he be a big baby?

Well I been measuring 2 weeks ahead ever since I was 23 weeks. And im 37 weeks and 3 days! So your baby probably is not going to come early, but then agian it can! Dont worry about it! Good Luck with everything!

I measured 4 weeks big with my 3rd. I was induced at 38 weeks. Baby was 6lbs14oz. I had a lot of fluid!!!!!!!! delivery was fine and baby is healthy. Good luck.

I measured huge with my daughter though out (my first child) and had tons of fluid. She was pretty big 8lbs 2oz but was born one day before I was due. I am 39wks with my second and still measuring big but I'm not worried. Though my daughter was big I delivered naturally with no drugs and everything went fine. I am only 5'1. In some cases its a problem but your doc will most likely look into it further as you go along if it is. Good Luck

If it's just your uterus measuring big, that's different than the baby measuring big. Like others have said, it could be more fluid, the uterus is just larger than usual. But in either case, the size doesn't change the due date.

I was measuring a week ahead by uterus measurements and the sonogram showed the baby at a week and 1/2 ahead. I am only 31 weeks and he is already 4.5 pounds.

When I had my 20 week u/s the baby was measuring a week and a half bigger. SHould I go by the u/s due date or the LMP due date, being that my cycles could have been shorter then I was thinking due to a m/c 2 months before I got preggo this time.

My doctor measured me 2 weeks further on my 28th week's appt. Baby could simply just be big. My doctor had the same concern recently and is having me keep a food diary (which I know she'll see it's not due to my eating habits- as I'm always sick to my stomach). Some babys are just big.

If what the Drs say is true, I hope my baby comes early! A week ago, at 30 weeks, he was over 4lbs on the ultrasound measurements. He is in the 90 percentile. The fundal measurement had me at 34 weeks. Back at the 20 week sonogram he was in the 70 percentile. They have tested me for GD and yet I have still only gained 18/19 lbs. I am a little worried about his size.

Hi everyone, I am at 31 weeks and we have been told I am measuring larger since 18 weeks...but they did not want to change my due date since it was only a 10 day difference. Last week though, they thought I was measuring even further ahead due to the size of my uterus and big baby. Today went in for a level 2 ultrasound and baby is at 5 lbs 10 oz. at 31 weeks....they did not change the due date yet, but are thinking about it. We should now by the end of the week. Anyone else experience this?
