For the last week or 2 i have been cleaning almost every day, laundry almost every day and making sure the house is stocked with food, pullups for my 2 year old, etc. Is anyone else doing this? i am due in 3 1/2 weeks, and so ready for this baby girl to be born!!!! but im trying to make sure everything is in order, i hate it when things arent done and i know i wont be able to get to it! i have my bags packed and ready to go! im only 1/2 cent. dialated, and i go back on thursday for a checkup. i hope i have progressed some with all this stuff im doing!!:)

I've wanted to, but just haven't been able to. My little girl moved into a head down position a couple of weeks ago and I can't hard stand more than 5 minutes w/o having alot of pressure on my cervix. I'm only 32 weeks, so maybe it will start later.

I laughed so hard when I read this...I am the same way. I have 4 weeks to go and my pantry and freezer look like I can feed an army and everything is spic and span clean. I have cleaned it, organized it and even rearranged it all! I knew there must be something up when I found myself picking lint off my carpet behind my dresser where no one can even see!

You guys are soooo lucky. I am due in exactly one month from today and there is sooo much I need to get done. The problem is I have no energy! Hopefully as I get closer I will get as lucky as you and nesting will kick in! Good Luck!

Yes, I am jealous! I wish I could do more to get ready, and clean when I have the energy, but after work, just want to lie down!

I agree with you BB! I am the same way. I have under 2 weeks and I feel like I have SO much to do and no time to do it in. I just don't seem to have the energy. I do what I can and clean one room a day, but it seems to get so messy that same day.

Ummm yeah, I even bought paint to make our what I thought, grungy kitchen cabinets look nicer and I feel nutty when our house is just even a little messy, which I was never like. I am completely closed up so I guess my painting and cleaning frenzy isn't helping me dialate!!! Maybe I will hit Mexican food tonight!!! I am due in 3 weeks

One more thing to add I have probably over 500 wipes!!!!! I am stocking for diapers in case of a blizzard, for some reason I think there will be a blizzard I don't live in Alaska it's just one of those crazy things!!!

I'm 36 weeks and moving to a new place today. After work I still feel a lot of energy to do things, that's why I'll keep working for 2 more weeks, if I stop, I get so bored!! And of course, I will have a blast arranging everything for the next couple of days. Can't wait for grocery shopping tomorrow!!!

I am only 27 weeks and already I am "nesting" - I am constantly cleaning, I am happiest when I am doing so! I have this fear that I am going to have my baby and myu house is going to be a wreck! Its great because I am not normally a person that is happy to clean, but noaways I would rather scrub my floors or iron clothes than read a book or watch tv! It makes for a clean house but very sore back!

Cheating a little & jumping ahead to 3rd tri board at only wekk 25, but just wanted to say I've been "nesting" this whole time! I've never wanted to clean so much in my life, believe me!

I'm 31 weeks and I've been cleaning like mad for the past week. That includes the laundry; I've been going through all the closets in the house hoping to find something even semi dirty to stuff it in the washer. I also have an urge to go through all my kitchen cabinets clean them out and rearrange them all. I hope I can find time for all the cleaning I want to do because I'm still working full time.

These posts are great! I have six more weeks to go and can't wait until this weekend when I can do nothing but clean! Last night I spent $100 at JC Penney on new curtains, I mean, should that even be a priority right now!? Thanks for brightening my day, Best Wishes to all of you!
