Anyone Else Nervous About This

Back in my twenty fourth week we had an u/s to determine the baby's gender. The tech said he could see a labia, it looked like a labia to me too, and he said it's a girl. I cannot help but worry though, I have all of this girl stuff, what if we missed the p__s and the baby is a boy?:( I have a rather blurry picture on my piczo, piczo/phoenixrain, and I often times look at the ultrasound picture again and again wondering if those two dots aren't really testicles, plus I have had dreams I am told it's a boy instead of a girl. Sigh I want this worry relieved already and I don't know what to do!

ahh i know what you mean, you should get a few yellow things, just in case. Also don't go buying like BIG pink items just yet like there are some pink strollers and car seats out there or blankets sets! did you get a 3d ultrasound? i didn't but i heard their supposed to be able to tell better from one. I've been carrying kind of high which is supposed to mean girl, puts my mind at ease a little! the other day a woman i didn't know asked me if it was a girl to, look at the little things to try to stay positive.

I unfortunately was a bit impulsive, even the blue and yellow I stuff I got was for little girls. My fiance wanted a girl so badly I just wanted to get him more into the pregnancy. Now I am so worried we could have been wrong :( I feel so stupid, why did I have to get so much girl stuff??

Don't worry. I know I am not an u/s tech but I am having my second boy. I checked your picture, you are definitely having a girl. At 24 weeks, if it was a boy you would have clearly seen 2 swollen testes! Congrats on the little girl!!

Thank you so much Brendansmom! That really helped me alot :) I have been scanning through ultrasound pictures to see what they all look like and you have a point, all the boy ones looked nothing like mine, so I feel a bit relieved now :)

Don't sweat it. It's easy to get all worked up, especially if you're having what you were hoping for. Nobody likes disappointment. You'll know for sure soon enough!!! I wish I had a scanner so I could show you one of my boys! It definitely looks different.

I am having a boy too, and just like Brendansmom said, in my u/s - it was obvious! No doubt about it, two swollen testes and a p___s! And that was at 21 weeks! So you are most definitely having a girl. But just so you don't feel alone, with as obvious as mine was, i still catch myself wondering sometimes, what we'll do with all the (TONS) of boy stuff we have if it did turn out to be wrong! :) Totally normal to think twice about that!

That is such a relief, I mean my tech was positive he saw a little girl in there that he zoomed up and took a nice shot. I trust him because he has been my u/s for many other things too and has never been a problem....I guess I was just so excited today because I bought a new outfit with a sleeper, caps, socks and mittens for her, and kept imaging what she might look like in them, but then my mind kept asking, "And if she is a he, what will you do then?" You cannot put boys in a princess cap.
