Just wondered if anyone from the UK is still around. I'm 34 weeks pregnant now, due 8 November. I've stopped work now and just moved house out of London to by Cambridge. Now due to give birth in Addenbrookes/Rosie in Cambridge. Start antenatal clasess on Thursday, next midwife on Wed. Still loads of baby shopping to do though, found some good places to get things now. Would love to hear how everyone else is doing from the UK.

hi justine, im from uk. i live in norfolk and im 36 weeks preg today! i did my last shift at work last saturday and it was a relief!!! ive still got some shopping to do and the babys room isnt ready yet which is a bit of a worry as i might have to be induced in the next couple of weeks.

Hi Justine and Sam! I'm 36 weeks preg today too! (Due 25th Oct) I'm also having my baby at the Rosie in Cambridge! I've pretty much finished all the baby shopping. Haven't sorted out the nursery yet though as we plan to move house soon. I guess it doesn't matter too much as the baby will be in our room to start with anyway. Sam, why might you have to be induced?

sam - September 27

hi sarah! we have the same due date!! i might have to be induced as my baby has stopped growing in the last couple of weeks and is measuring small. i have a scan booked for next week to check it out and they might decide its best for the baby to come out. im really worried but hopefully it just means she is a small baby. where are u moving to?

Hi Sam! We are hopefully moving to Ess_x, near Felsted. I've never been an Ess_x girl before! I've always lived in Herts! What makes the doctors think that the baby has stopped growing? R u having regular scans or is your belly measuring small? At least you'll get to meet your baby sooner! I'm dreading that I'll go over my due date - getting a bit impatient now :)

im an ess_x girl - ha ha!!!!!! ive only lived in norfolk for two years. my belly is measuring small and the same size it was at my last appt two weeks ago so midwife was a bit concerned. i cant wait to meet her, do u know what ur having??

Hi, I'm also from the UK. Live in London having my baby at the Royal Free Hospital. Also due 25th oct. Got pretty much everything for baby as i had a babyshower on the 24th.

I don't know the s_x of my baby, but I'm getting impatient to find out now! Everyone tells me that I'm having a boy, but I really don't know how they can tell! I have seen so many different size and shape bellies around! It is fun trying to guess though! Sam, how long will they leave it before they decide to induce you?

sam - September 27

im having a girl, i was far too impatient to wait!! well my scan is on monday so i think they will decide there and then. i have to go now but my email address is samm[email protected] if u would like to keep in touch!! take care xx

I'm having a boy, was too impatient aswell! Had a scan at 34 weeks aswel (just to check on him as i had mumps and was hospilatised at 26 weeks) he was fine, DEFINATELY a boy lol. His estimated weight then was 5lb 1 oz!

sam - September 27

hi amy!! welcome. being hospitalised sounds scary, glad all is ok. i really am going now so like i said to sarah, if u would like to keep in touch u have my email address. its nice to make new friendsxx

Sam, I hope all goes well with the scan on Monday x Amy, a friend of mine recently had her 20 week scan and she could definitely see that it was a boy also as he was playing with his thingy! lol I'm off to get some food now, speak later xxx

Hi Sam, Sarah and Amy - Good to hear from you all. 25th October is going to be busy! I'm actually living in Ess_x too now for the first time (Saffron Walden), just moved out from London for the maternity leave period. Sarah - Good to hear you'll be at the Rosie too and hope your house move goes well. Sam - Hope your scan goes well. My baby is also measuring small (around 2 weeks) too but its been like that for the last few appointments so they are not worried at present. Will be measured again tomorrow so I'll see what they say. Its most likely though that our babies are just a bit small, which will make delivery easier hopefully. Girls are smaller than boys and first babies are often smaller so that's probably all it is - I wouldn't be too worried, it'll be fine. Is it your first? Its my first. Its great to finish work isn't it? Amy - Good to hear from you again. Glad your scan went well.

Hi ladies! I'm in Bristol and just over 30 weeks now, due 4th December! I've bought most of the stuff for baby (don't know what we're having!), but still got a few vital things to get! I started my antenatal cla__ses a couple of weeks ago, they're pretty good - very informative which is good!

Justine - September 28

Nice to hear from you both, Louise and Kim. Loiuse - I started showing early at 9 weeks but my bump has only just started to be impressive, I always felt it wasn't big enough before when I went to see the midwife and all the women had bigger bumps. I've very happy to have a big bump now! Kim - You're nearly there, that must be exciting. I grew up in Shropshire so I know Worcester a bit - its really nice. Let us know how the birth goes - Hope everything goes really well.
