Baby Turning Head Down

i was just wondering how will you know when your baby has turned in the head down position...I am currently 33 weeks first time mom....

I think your dr can tell you by feeling. But I found out at my 36 week u/s. I would ask your dr though.

My dr checked my stomach physically at 35 weeks. At 36 weeks, I thought that she had flipped b/c the movement was so big and painful, so the dr checked again & couldn't feel her head & did a quick u/s. She was still head down! One thing they told me to try to pay attention to is the type of movement. When the baby is head down, small movements usually occur down low (hands) and the bigger movements up high (legs). It is still hard to tell though.Even when she pushes out her foot and you can see the outline I still wonder (more b/c I worry about everything I think!!!!)

I was afraid with both of my girls that they were not the right way, but whan I asked the doctors, they said they were positioned correctly. It sure did not feel like it to me!

My doctor told me at my 31 weeks checkup by feeling around.
