I AM AT 37 WEEKS. TODAY WHILE COOKING I HAD A BAG OF JUICE SPEW ONTO MY UPPER BELLY THAT BLISTERED ME. I AM WONDERING IF THIS IN ANY WAY COULD HAVE AFFECTED MY BABY

I really doubt it but I would call and double check. You're baby is in a very well protected sack with lots of fluid, plus layers of your skin inbetween.

Nope. Your baby didn't feel a thing. However, unfortunately, you are probably feeling the pain of it all. Rub some aloe vera on it or some polysporin. Just the fact that it is blistering already is a good sign of healing and that the burn was a superficial one. Even a third degree burn wouldn' t bother baby given they are protected by uterus and amniotic fluid, and a third degree burn does not blister right away...you are safe.

This would not affect your baby, but you should get it checked out because you could develop an infection from it. Burns can be very dangerous, and even more so when your immune systems are comprimised (as when pregnant) Contact from the liquid was not long enough to cause internal temps to rise (such as using a hot tub or sauna during pregnancy) and your baby is very well protected.
