For Nursing Moms Trying To Loose Weight

I lost about 25 of the 55 pounds I gained two weeks after giving birth (this was the actual baby and water and swelling contribution). Now I'm working on the 30 extra pounds I packed on. For 2 months I ate sensibly, healthy and exercised by walking everyday and did not loose a single pound. They say that nursing helps you loose weight too but my body was hanging on. Well last week I started weight watchers and they add 10 extra points for nursing moms. I had to force myself to eat the extra food and was so skeptical about it working because I was eating so much. I went to weigh in the first week and I lost 3.2 pounds!!!!! Your body goes into starvation mode when you don't eat enough and holds on to what it has. If your having trouble loosing weight...eat more!
