I Can Hardly Walk

I still have 2 weeks to go but by the end of each day I can hardly walk. is anyone else feeling this??? My lower back and pelvis are extremly sore. I can't wait to be normal again. It drives me crazy that I can't do all the things I used to. My dh and I don't have the same work speed and relying on him to get things done is a real challenge. Hopefully the nursery will be finished by the end of the week.

What you are feeling is totally normal, and frustrating! You don't have far to go, before you know it the baby will be out and you will have a whole new set of issues. I'm sure your hubby won't disappoint and the nursery will be finished on time. I also know that it can be hard to rely on someone else that doesn't do things the way you would, on your time schedule. With my first pregnancy my hips would ache so bad. Try laying on your side in bed and have your hubby ma__sage your hips, it really was the only thing that made me feel better. I feel for you and in a few months I will be just as uncomfortable as you are now. Congratulations in advance and I wish you a happy healthy little one. Let us know how the birth goes. Merry Christmas.

Hiya im the same and I have 6 weeks to go, generally I feel its when I over do it and have a real busy day with lots of walking or something, I can barely walk at the end of it, my pelvis seems to lock or something, and getting in and out of bed and turning in bed becomes really painful! Maybe you should try and rest up more, hopefully thats what Ill be doing when im at your stage! :)

Yeah, my pelvis and back pretty much hurt constantly. I am coming up on 36 weeks and I can't wait until I can get out of bed with no pain. It is next to unbearable at times! But, my dr didn't have any concerns with my complaints. Now my ribcage starts to fall asleep when I sit for an extended period of time. It's like my body isn't even my own anymore! :) lol

I am the same way and unfortunately I like to get things done ASAP so it is a challenge for me as well since I don't like waiting on the dh to finish things for me. I have a hard time walking when I first get out of bed in the morning and after a long day of barely even standing I still tend to get really sore. I'm glad this is normal for you ladies too. I was starting to think that this is more than pregnancy stuff & that my health was going down hill anyways. When I sleep sometimes I wake up because I end up sleeping on my back at some point in the night & the pain wakes me up so I have to move back over to side sleeping. It is hard isn't it! So hopefully our bodies recover after birth. I can't imagine if it doesn't. But with only 2 -3 weeks left to go I am just going to try to truck through it!

I also have pelvic painand walking can be ......uugh! I was reading about it and found out that it don't just go away right after baby is born. It could take a month or two. That was very bad news to me because I have been having this pain for about three months already. And i have been sleeping in an upright position for about the same amount of time due to heartburn.

Lucky you, lasting this long. I am already that way and I'm only in the middle of my 27th week. I'm carrying my girl extremely, extremely low, so that might be part of my problem, but I feel your pain. Mornings are terrible, too, when it all stiffens up. Soon and very soon it'll be over!!
