It may give mommy heatburn, but won't hurt baby a bit.

I love and eat a lot of spicy foods too and it's OK. I get occasional heartburn which is much milder than what I used to get during my m/s days! so I'm ok. I did hear that close to your due date, spicy food may actually get your labor going. But not sure if that's just a old wives tale!

it won't hurt the baby at all. you may experience heartburn but how do you think it would hurt the baby? there are a lot of cultures that have spicy food and pregnant women eat it and there babies are fine.

No it doesn't hurt the baby. I had a lot of spicy and hot food with my first pregnancy, I got lots of heartburn but baby was and is ok. As long as you are used to it, it should be fine.

Spicy foods are fine, they won't hurt baby at all (you might get heartburn). I eat them all the time with no problems, but I ate a lot pre-pregnancy. Besides, it'll introduce baby to new flavours.
