Is This Stuff Normal

I have a quick question... I am now 40 weeks pregnant and I went to the doctor on Monday where he did an internal exam. I started bleeding a little. He said not to be alarmed and it did quit. Tuesday, I had brownish, dry blood. BUT, I have been having a lot of mucus or discharge. It pretty much looks like snot. I thought it might be my mucus plug.....but I still am having it today. I thought that if it was the plug...you'd lose it and that would be it....it wouldn't continue to come out. I'm worried I should call the doctor, but I'm scheduled to be induced tomorrow morning at 4 AM. I still feel the baby moving and everything....so I am not sure what to do. Any suggestions? Is this normal? Sorry TMI

Hi BWIND! From what I've experienced and read from others, this is perfectly normal. I started loosing my mucus plug 2 weeks ago and every once and awhile I loose a bit more. It replenishes itself like your amniotic fluid would so there will still be a bit every once and awhile. Hope this helps! Don't worry and good luck tomorrow!! You're so lucky! I'm 37 1/2 weeks and can't wait to get this whole pregnancy over with so I can just see my little girl! :)
