you can google it.. but if you are looking for it to help with child birth, I'd suggest perineal ma__sage instead.

well the most helpful info i have gotten on it is when you are going pee (sorry) stop the flow of urine those are you kegal muscles so whenever i do one i just imagine stopping going to the bathroom sounds weird but it works, good luck what to epect when you are expecting has some information on it but if you google as january says you will get tons of info

I've also heard it's important to hold the muscles in to the point that it feels uncomfortable, not painfully uncomfortably, but almost like a nervous feeling. They say when you're in your car and stop at a red light, do a kegal and hold it until the light turns green. Unless you're stuck at a really long light, then let go when you have to so you don't pa__s out! :-) But just holding for a second and letting go usually doesn't strengthen them too much. You gotta put some duration into it.

Not sure on books but start doing these asap. Do you know there is certain countries (TMI coming up?) that until the woman can squeeze her midwives finger she can't resume s_x? The other thing to do is when you are having s_x is to clasp and release your partner and it can help heighten s_x during pregnancy and after the birth. Tell him he is helping get your body back to normal! LOL!

I have been doing them for weeks now and I can definitely tell I am getting stronger. It's not just the muscles that stop the flow of urine, but also your a__s muscles. Just tighten up and hold it for a (slow) count of ten and try to do 3 sets of 8 working up to 3 sets of 20. Right now I can only do 3 sets of 15, but I am getting there. It's harder than you think. Kegels should be started as soon as possible. I plan to start perineal message next week, I read it's best to start that at 30 to 32 weeks. Hoping it all helps in the end...
