Please tell me it's safe to take. I am 38w2d. I couldn't tell you the last time I got more than 2 hours sleep in a 24 hour period.. If I don't get sleep soon, I'm going to go ballistic. I don't want to take it on a regular basis, just once to get a decent night of rest. I didn't get it from my daughter (18yo) got it from hers and I would really like to take one.... someone, anyone??

Have you tryed taking a warm bath, or warm gla__s of milk, they say that is suppose to help you. I hope you get some rest without taking anything. Im not sure about meds, the bath and milk helped me tho.

I have tried everything...if it's not cramping in my hip/b___tox area, it's BH, going to the bathroom, and if not those things, baby boy decides to use my hips, ribs and v____a as his little jungle He is extremely active so even trying to nap during the day is futile. I'm wondering why I decided to do this at No regrets though, just sick and tired of being sick and tired............

Amyjo, I am not sure about Lunesta but my doctor specifically told me that if I am having trouble sleeping to let him know and he will give me something- i would talk to your doc

I'm not sure about the lunesta either, I was on it before I got preggo and man it really knocks you out. I would chec kwith your dr, I did read somewhere that unisom might be an option but definitely talk with your dr first

that would be a cute name...Lunesta...

Gretta - February 21

Tylenol PM is safe according to my doctor.

cindernar - February 22

I was going to say the same thing, Gretta. I was having that problem, and my doctor told me to take either Benadryl or Tylenol PM. Both are safe.

My doctor recommended Unisom for morning sickness when I still had it in my 2nd trimester and it helped the m/s and helped me sleep. Ask your doctor about it... I did a lot of research about it before I took it since it was the subject of a lot of lawsuits back in the 80's but it was cleared and is actually a schedule A for pregnancy drug now.

Thanks. I have already tried the Tylenol PM, but not the Unisom. I go to Dr. later on this morning and I'll see....... I do know, however, that he does not like to prescribe anything so getting him to give me a sleeping pill is out of the question. It's a good thing though.
