So I've been having what I assume is braxton hicks contractions for the last month or so...and here for about 3 days I've started having sharp shooting pains in my lower abdomine like right above my pelvic bone. Tonight when I went to the restroom I wiped and there was some light blood...it was red, but not a lot. Anyone have a clue what this could be or whats going on?? Im lost!! I'd hate to go to the doc over nothing...

I'd say give your doctor's office a call anyway, seeing blood is always a valid concern. Not trying to pry or anything, but was it mixed with mucous, or was there any in your urine? You could tell a doctor or nurse all of this so they can determine what to do next. I hope everything works out for you!

Well I've been having more than usual discharge lately- sorry tmi- like almost watery but not clear just white.. It wasn't mixed with mucous though...just when I wiped- I wiped before I went pee because I felt wet and there was some with discharge and then after I went pee a little more- sorry if tmi again..im just a little confused...I guess I can call the doc tomorrow...I've just been in twice before- once there was nothing wrong and once there was and I hate feeling like one of those patients that always think somethings wrong!

I know what you mean, I never call unless I feel there is a very very good reason behind it. I have always felt like one of those hypochondriac patients, and I can tell doctor's don't seem fond of those. Although I don't know why they should care, they're still getting paid to do their job:)

I agree, spotting in the 3rd tri is always a good reason to call. It could be nothing, but if it's something it needs to get diagnosed and dealt with.

i would recommend calling just for peace of mind, don't feel bad, i'm sure there are much higher maintenance pregnant patients than we are! let us know how you are doing, i hope everything is okay.
