I don't have this problem, but it does sound like some of the symptoms a__sociated with high blood pressure, you should take your doctors advice and get some bedrest, can you take sick leave from work?

I have the same thing, but I don't have high blood pressure. The numbness in my right leg is always the front of my thigh. It normally comes when I stand in one place for more than 2 minutes. I have slight swelling in my ankles and now in my hands. To help with the feet, you should probably elevate them during the day and definitely when you get home at night. You don't say if you have a job where you can sit and elevate or if you are on your feet.

I only have about 4 or 5 pto days left to take off and then once the baby comes i am taking a 12 week leave under the fmla without pay.I basically have to keep working unfortunately.

My job is a receptionist job.I am sitting all day, only getting up when i need to get paperwork off the printers.I would really need to be laying down with my feet elevated. My job is so demanding though. They dont even have a temp set up yet to take my place.they havent made any preparations here at work yet in case i have to leave or something happens.

Hmm, that's tough. Okay then, make sure your chair is comfy and has good back support (bring a pillow if that'll help) And put your feet up on a foot rest, trash can or a box. That should help with the swelling. Take breaks, get plenty of water and use that walk to the printer to stretch. Best of Luck.

I have the same problem I am also 33 weeks my right thigh is numb all of the time and now I am noticing tingeling in my feet and numbness in my hands. S o far my blood pressure has been fine I go back to the doctor on Tuesday and I am already on reduced hours due to really bad saitica and tailbone pain. I try to elevate my feet and legs as much as possible I just dont know what to do anymore. I am scared I will have nerve damage or somehting and I still have a bit of time to go and the numbness is getting worse. At least it is all for a good cause :)

It sounds like the baby has his/her back against your back and causing pressure on some nerves. The Dr. told me to get on all fours and drop my back down like a broke back hose and the raise it back up again several times before bed and when I wake up. Also always sleep on your left side so that the baby will be in the best posistion for birth, face down not up. Trust me this helps a little, in just a few more weeks, itll feel like electricty everyonce in awhile when you go to walk. Not constant though
