Nursing On Klonopin After The Baby Is Born

I have been on Klonopin during my pregnancy until now for my panic attacks. I really want to nurse and can't get off of it. my doctor says that even though it is not a safe medication and may cause withdrawls that it may be best for me to br___tfeed then to get off and have panic attacks. Any other people in my situation or any sugg?

The doctor didn't suggest any other drugs you could possibly take? I'd have to think that maybe there is something else that is helpful to you but less harmful while b___stfeeding. You should try researching for yourself online a little. That just doesn't seem right. Best of luck.

Thanks....The doctor put me on Zoloft a few weeks ago, But still no sign of Zoloft working for me yet. Hopefully, alot of these panic attacks are hormonal and will go away for me after the baby is born:) *Being induced this thursday!!)
