Hi guys, I just wonder if anyone is experiencing one sided ankle+foot swelling. I am 38 weeks and I noticed yestarday that my right foot and ankle are fairly bigger than left side. Other than that I feel fine. Yes, and I can not put my wedding ring on anymore for more than a week, my knuckles are too large now! Anybody out there having same problem?

Hi Sisi, yes I had that exact same problem at my 38wks and I don't think it mean anything though maybe it's due to how much pressure you put on one side than the other. My right foot and ankle would be bigger than the left. Nothing to worry about though. Now I'm 39 wks and don't have that much swelling which is a big relief. What are you having Bow or Girl. I'm having a Boy. Hopefully in 5 more days.

Hi Tonia and Tracey...glad I am not alone! I thought it might not be anything to be alarmed about, but some rea__surance from others really helps. I am having a boy, two weeks to go. Guess his head or center of his gravity is putting much more pressure on my right side, huh? I am trying to lie on my left side as much as I can, I will see if that helps or not. And I will discuss this with my OB this Thursday too. Thanks!

According to the nurse at my doctors office, it is tied to the side the baby is on. The baby is on my right side and my right side is the side that is the most swollen. Then again, it is my dominant side anyway... So who knows.
