Would it be ok to just touch up a few spots on the wall? As long as the windows are open? Its not a whole lot of work to do !

Water based paint? Knock youself out. Perfectly safe with ventilation.. I am 30 weeks and my doc gave me the OK to paint the entire nursery.

Even water-based paint (Latex paint) has warnings on it sometimes that it should only be used in well ventalated areas, and that fumes can damage unborn fetuses. Read the label carefully!! But I imagine using a very small quant_ty even of the harmful paint, with good ventalation, couldn't hurt too much. The later it is in your pregnancy, the safer you are, too.

I would be more concerned with climbing on a ladder and squatting down low to paint more than the actual paint fumes. My doctor said that painting itself was fine it is just that some of the smells makes you feel sick. I painted just yesterday, but I only did the part in the middle, no bending or climbing for me as I am almost 37 weeks.
