When did your doctors start doing the pelvic exams??

My doc told me (after I asked) that he would start doing pelvic exams starting at 35 weeks. I thought that was late.... but I guess if there aren't any complications, he doesn't feel the need to check me out. Just as well... I'm not looking forward to those...

My dr started doing my exams at 36 weeks after I asked him to, now I am 38 weeks and have not changed since my first exam 2 weeks ago!! I am still dialated to a 3 and 50%, I wish I never would have started my exams so early it has just lead to alot of disappointment. I hope all goes well for you guys, just dont obsess over the "numbers". LOL

Mindee, arent you happy with the fact that you are already three cent dialated and 50 percent effaced? I mean, some women show NO signs of labor up until the day the baby is born!
