Possible Water Breaking

First, I'm two days past my due date, so now, onto what happened. I don't know if I should bother my doctor about this or not, but last night I had been sitting on our couch, indian style, reading, when I got up to check on dinner and my email. When I bent over my computer desk, I was startled because the back of my cotton pants were damp. Not a huge spot, only about 4 inches long or so. I went into the bathroom, and my underwear were soaked through, along with that spot on my pants. I changed into a fresh pair of dry underwear and pants, and went about my business, figuring I would call the doctor or hospital if I continued leaking, but I didn't. After the initial wet, there was no leaking, nothing. I know it wasn't urine. I haven't had bladder leaking issues at all, and frankly, it didn't smell like urine either. I had no contractions accompanying it, and very few this morning. The baby is still moving, and I did wake up early very uncomfortable and had to walk around for about 20 minutes to get the baby to move so I wasn't in pain. Do you think my water broke a bit and maybe baby's head plugged up the leak? Is it worth calling the doctor or nurse or hospital about since nothing has happened since then?

i would say you should call since you are already past your due date, it is possible that you can just leak your waters...if its not that, then its certainly no bother for them to check, thats their job! If it was your water breaking they need to keep an eye on you and the baby and make sure that you dont get an infection. I dont think anyone can tell you for sure if it was or not unless you go in and have them swab you and check. Good luck! :-)
