I'm 39 weeks and I have a series of problems. I have mild preeclampsia, a bladder infection, a cold, 60% effaced and dilating, and alot of pelvic pressure. Can someone relate or tell me about what can have when you have preeclampsia.

i had a mild case of preeclampsia. due sto my high blood pressure. my doctor was even talking about inducing me. but ive controled my salt intake and now he says there is no need to be induced. and im due on the 29th of april.Preeclampsia can prevent the placenta (which gives air and food to your baby) from getting enough blood. If the placenta doesn't get enough blood, your baby gets less air and food. This can cause low birth weight and other problems for the baby.

I had preeclampsia much earlier in my first pregnancy. If you're at 39 weeks, then your labor could be induced if it suddenly became necessary, and your baby would be fine. I had my daughter at 36 weeks because of a sudden rise in my blood pressure, and she was fine. Your doctor will have given you a list of warning signs-seeing flashes of light, severe headache, swelling of the face and hands..just watch for the things your doctor told you about, and call him if you have any of them happen.
