I am 37 weeks and the doc will be doing a stress test on the baby. What does that entail?????

Just hooking your belly up to a monitor and they print out the babies heart rate for 20 minutes or so. If he isn't active, they will wake him up with noise. No biggie - I am going twice a week to have them done until he is born.

Yup, it's super easy. All you have to do is stretch out on a bed, and they put a little moniter on your belly to measure baby's heartrate, and possibly another moniter to see if your contracting at all. They give you a little b___ton to press whenever the baby moves, and like jas said, if baby's sleeping they'll wake him/her up. It usually only takes about a half hour if baby's cooperative, and it's great getting to listen to your little one! :)
