Hi, I have been having menstrual like cramps, especially at nightime, and more on the left side of my body for 2 nights in a row now. this had happened before and i called my doctor and he had me come in to get tested for a UTI, the test came back fine, but i am having the same cramps again. i want to say that they are mild, but at some point they get pretty painful like before a period. and it also seems i had diarhea (sorry about details) before they started 2 days ago. anyone been through this and find it normal, i'm trying not to worry... thanks for any suggestions.

Sorry sweetheart. I am 28w4d today and I spent all last week in hospital being monitored for the cramping and symptoms you described - no UTI, renal scan clear but still having some blood show up in urine. Those are definite warning signs of pre labour and they gav me steroids to mature the babies lungs and I am now considered high risk. I would go and get checked out. Have they been coming in any kind of regularity? Mine did and then didn;t and then did again when I actually sat down and time them. Go to L&D and get checked over - better safe than sorry! Good luck!

i had them for one night on Oct. 6th, (I remember because i went to the Doctor Oct. 8th to get tested for UTI). Then I had them this past Saturday night... pretty much constant all night. Then again for about an hour last night and it had stopped since. The baby kicks are still present and normal as usual and I feel fine now. How often did you have yours before you went to the doctor? and what do you mean by blood in the urine? did you see the blood or did the doctor test you for it? thanks for responding by the way...
