Travel System Debate

I need HELp on finding a GREAT travel system. I want something that's easy and sturdy. Somewhat lightweight, but not too small. I found 2 that I liked, but can't seem to make up my mind. The first one I seen is made by Chicco. You can find the product here: The second one is made by Graco and is a smaller one. You can find the product here: There is a $100 price difference and that's not an issue. If there are any mommy's out there that have purchased any of these or can help I really appreciate it. THANKS!

My husband and I recieved our travel system and it's by Graco and was around 200 It's great and me being 3 weeks away from my due date can lift and easily release the car seat and it is so easy to fold and light enough for me to lift up. I also went with Graco because every one was saying great things about it. OUr stroller is Mocha. Good luck hope I helped a little bit.

I have never owned anything chicco before, but I have had 2 kids and owned 3 single stollers as well as a double stroller and have baby on the way! My advice would be to make sure the basket below the stroller is easy to get to, that it's big and wide. After you put a diaper bag in there and maybe one shopping bag there sometimes is not any room for anything else. The larger the basket, the better. Which one collapses easier? Which one is lighter? Then with the car seat...some are a real pain in the you know what to adjust straps for a growing baby. Can you just push a b___ton and make the straps longer or tighter or do you have to mess with threading buckles? AND to get the seat out of the base....check that out and see which one is easier. Sounds like a long list, but we ditched out last single stroller bec of those reasons and have a great graco which is going to be easy to adjust, snap out of the base and isn't heavy! Hope that helps.

i havent bought ours yet but i have seen both the Graco Quattro Tour and the Peg Perego Venezia and I am going with the Graco -- it folds with one hand and has a parent tray, which i like.

Well, I hope Graco has improved, bought a Graco with my first and it was a piece of junk! Went with Peg Perego this time, twice as much money, but hope it will be worth it. I used the stroller A LOT with my first one.

A nice alternative to the Graco Quattro is the much lighter Graco Travellite, I ordered mine right off of the Graco website. It was easy to pput together, came very quickly and its its very also comes with the infant carrier that is reccomended by the new 2005 safety standards and its 2 inches longer than most infant carrier seats, so the baby can stay in it longer!

I keep reading that most parents junk their "travel system" stroller once the kid is out of her infant seat and buy something lighter and smaller. so I've been recommended to just buy a frame and then get a nice stroller when the baby is old enough to support her head. Any thoughts? thanks

Friends have strongly recommended the Graco Metrolite travel system to me. The Metrolite is very similar to the QuatroTour, but about 10lbs lighter, which makes it a lifesaver as your child gets bigger. Good luck!
