Has anyone ever had expierience with having the doctors turning the baby? They want me to go into the hospital on Friday to turn the baby but I am scared to death and just want to say heck with it let's just schedule a c-section. (which also scares me to death)

Hi Beth. Well, I dont know anyone who has had it done but I saw it on TV the other day on THE BABY STORY and it looked very painful, but than again, its not the same for everyone. The Dr was just pushing into her stomach with his fists and at the same time she was having an Ultrasound to see when the baby turned. The Dr on TV was explaining that the baby can go through distress and if the heart rate decreases too much they would do a C-Section anyway. All I can tell you is that the Dr knows whats best for you. Tell him your worries and I'm sure he'll be honest about the pros and cons on both. Turning a baby looks to be very painful but once the baby turned than that's it, if you decided to go for a C-section than you have to also realize that the recuperation can also be very painful and some woman cant enjoy their first few days with they're new baby as mucg because of all of the discomfort. Just think about it and Good luck with what you decide.
