I AM 32WKS AND 3 DAYS TODAY AND I STILL FEEL MISERABLE! I CAN'T BREATHE ALMOST ALL THE TIME, MY LEGS AND FEET ARE SWOLLEN, MY BACK HURTS, I CAN'T SLEEP, I ALWAYS FEEL HOT AND SOMETIMES EVEN NAUSEOUS. I JUST DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH LONGER I CAN HANDLE THIS BEFORE I GO CRAZY. I AM STILL WORKING FULL TIME AND JUST COUNT THE MINUTES BEFORE GOING HOME! PLEASE GIVE ME SOME ENCOURAGMENT TO GET THROUGH THIS. DON'T GET ME WRONG, I'M VERY HAPPY AND EXCITED TO HAVE MY BABY BOY, BUT I FEEL LIKE I'M HAVING THE BLUES ALREADY.

Hi Marianne, I too am 32 weeks and having the back aches, shortness of breathe (especially when I talk), and swollen feet...however, mine seem to have gone down quite a bit over the weekend, finally! Hang in there, we are almost there. I am working full time also and will do so until he is born. I just don't want to give up any of my time before he comes. Make sure you are getting plenty of sleep. I also have found out it is ok to delegate work to others. I have been trying to carry on just as if I wasn't pregnant and it wasn't working. Everyone now probably thinks I am Hitler, but this is my time to rest. I am also trying to finish up a semester of grad school, but I take day by day. Friends of mine also got me a gift certificate for a ma__sage before he is born and that has become my light at the end of the tunnel. I am saving it for when I really need it. Hang in there, you can make it.

you're not doing anything wrong! you're 8 months pregnant! your uterus is expanding into your lungs so it's harder to breathe, you're tired because you're making a baby and working full-time, and being hot is normal too - everything is normal.... which leads me to my next point - how do some women LOVE being pregnant? :) here's the good news: you REALLY are almost done. In 8 weeks you will have your baby boy. I'm not sure how much longer you have to work, but once you can stop, you will feel SO MUCH better! You can rest, eat, sleep, cry, whatever when YOU want - not when you can. I'm 35 weeks with twins and things haven't been easy but I stopped work at 31 weeks per my doctor's orders and can't tell you how much better I feel. But my back KILLS now. Do you have a body pillow? Mine helps a ton. It helps you sleep and helps your back. You should look into one. You are doing a GREAT job - you've gotten SO far and it will will will be worth it in the end - good luck!!

DID I MENTION THAT I AM ALSO EXTREMELY EMOTIONAL. I'M TEARING UP READING YOUR POSTS. THANKS GIRLS! I GUESS IT'S BEEN HARD W/MY HUSBAND BEING AT THE POLICE ACADEMY FOR THE LAST 6 MONTHS,BUT I SHOULD BE GLAD HE'S GRADUATING THIS WEEK! I CAN HARDLY BELIEVE I MADE IT WITHOUT HIM! I'M SEEING MY DOCTOR NEXT MONDAY AND HE WILL BE DETERMINING WHETHER HE WILL PUT ME OFF WORK BECAUSE I BELIEVE THAT WORK IS ALSO A BIG STRESSOR FOR ME CONSIDERING IT IS 1 1/2 HR DRIVE ONE WAY EACH DAY!! ANYWAY, THNKS FOR THE ENCOURAGEMENT, I DON'T FEEL SO ALONE ANYMORE:)

Hee..hee... on days when you really feel lower than low, go check out the posts on the first and second trimester forums. These ladies are already complaining and feeling like they can't go on (I'm not criticizing cuz I was one of them!). Maybe I am just evil, but this actually makes me feel better knowing that I have made it all the way to 36 weeks- through all of the uncomfortable feelings of pregnancy, and that I am almost done (and still alive for that matter). Maybe it's just the hormones, but it kinda makes me feel better to know that I would rather be in my shoes than in any of theirs! And, look forward to the day when the baby drops- at least you can breathe again and eat a full sized meal! Hang in there girl!
