What Should You Be Measuring

Just curious, I went to dr today and I am measuring 33 cm. I am 28w3d. She said the baby is growing REALLY fast. Does anybody know if there is a rule of thumb on what you should be measuring when?

My dr said that how many cm you are is how far a long you are. But it's hard for them to tell, everyones different. I'm 37 week but my baby measures full term (40 cm) But I also know that I'm going to have a really big baby. My husband was 10 pounds when he was born, and mine will be around there to. He's growing fast, so I want my pregnancy to be over with soon. The sooner the smaller the baby. :)

Well, you should measure the number of weeks you are. But, depending on the position of the baby, the measurement may be off give or take 4 cm. Mine measured 3 cm over, and the doctor said it was because of her position.

I measured about 3 cm bigger than my due date so they ordere an ultrasound. The baby was right on vs what my tummy was measuring. That's why they say you can measure a couple cm big and it doesn't mean anything. I wouldn't worry.
