Hi there, I am about to start my third trimester on Monday. But for the last week, I feel like I cant breathe. I am not sick, however since the day of conception I swear I wake up with a snotty nose EVERY morning. I dont know if its the baby up in my lungs or what.. but if I have to go through 13 more weeks of him growing, I dont see how I will have more room for my lungs at all... Anyone else having this problem?

It's totally normal, your baby is growing and your cervix is now pressing on your diaphram. As you get closer to the end he/she will drop lower and your bladder will bother you again. Stuffy nose is also very common, I've had one my whole pregnancy.

Sorry, I mean your uterus is pressing on your diaphram, not your cervix.

Kaeli, I could totally relate because I went through this for the last 3 weeks or so, and just this past month, I COULD BREATHE!!! I felt terrible at first thinking that I couldn't go thru the rest of my pregnancy feeling this way. I start my 3rd trimester tomorrow! Anyway, I think the baby just needs to shift and its just a matter of time. I do a lot of walking no matter how lazy I get so that may have had something to do with him dropping lower. I feel lower kicks now too so I'm thinking he definitely moved. But hang in there, make sure to consciously keep your posture as straight as possible in the meantime to help you breathe, especially when sitting down. Hang in there! Good Luck!
