Yep, I'm at 34 weeks and still working. I will be working until I have her, which means more maternity leave. It's a sit down job, unfortunately it makes my feet swell, and I get sooo sleepy if nobody calls. I have to confess that I've laid my head down a few times. What exactly is your job? I find for myself that upbeat music and some kind of snack will keep me awake for awhile.

i worked up until 35 weeks. i left a week early. i worked in a health food store where i stood all day... i just couldn't take it anymore. it hurt! plus towards the end of the day i would get extremely crabby... so i don't think they felt too bad about me leaving a little early! depending on you sitiuation and your job..... leave early!!! this is the one time in your life you have a ligitimate excuse!

Yes, 33 weeks, still working. Will work until 36 weeks, although the company policy is to keep working until 38 weeks. They'll extend it if the doctor signs off on it, which mine did no problem. What's amazing is this is an on-your-feet job, 8 hours a day. Seems to me the policy should be a little sooner. I just can't take it anymore and I am looking forward to March 15! My feet and ankles swell up, and I can hardly move by the end of my shift. Additionally, I'm completely useless the rest of the day, which sucks. I have no tips other than to take advantage of any kindness offered by your co-workers and don't feel bad about saying, "Look, I'm pregnant. I'm sitting down." (or going for a walk, if you've been sitting...)
