hi everyone i miscarried twins 2 years ago and i just wondered if anyone has been told by there doctor or seen it on the net how likely it is that i will carry twins again?

I have read that if you've had fraternal twins then you're 4x more likely than a woman who has not had twins to get them again. I guess that ups your chances to about 8% - 10% since I think normal stats of twinning are at about 2% - 3%

Like the pp said, only fraternals chances may change. If your twins were identical, your chance is 1 in 250 which is the same for everyone. My first pregnancy was a singleton and all was well. My second was twins (fraternal) that I lost. Third pregnancy was a blighted ovum. 4th pregnancy was twins (fraternal) and everything turned out fine. All natural with no twins in my family that I know of.
